I made the Airy Scarf for my mom from Last Minute Knitted Gifts last year for Christmas. I used Karabella Breeze in Camel. It’s soft, it’s luxurious, it goes with anything. She didn’t like it. She told me it was too short, next time make it longer. Next time? There will be no next time. She kept pestering me to make her something, and then when I did, it wasn’t good enough.

She even said she was going to give it to a seven year-old.

You don’t give a seven year-old a CASHMERE SILK BLEND SCARF!

What made me even angrier was the fact that she would leave it on the floor. ON THE FLOOR! I made the scarf with love and all that crap and she leaves it in the floor!

I took it back.

It was cold today so I decided to wear it. I happen to think it looks pretty good AND it’s warm.

You ever have one of those mornings where you know that you want to wear something and you plan the rest of your wardrobe around the accent piece?

That was my morning.

I walked around like this until I figured out what I was going to wear with the scarf.
