New Year’s Eve was a BLAST and we definitely rang it in with a bang. So much fun. Most of the pictures are NC-17, so if you want to have a look, go here. And yes, that is EXACTLY what it looks like it is. I’m not putting the pictures?on the blog?because I already get plenty of spam as it is. No need to encourage the?[currently Greek]?spambots. Go look. I’ll wait.
Back? Disturbed?
Anyway, we started out?New Year’s Day?eating a traditional Korean New Year’s meal for lunch at my parents house. DOUBLE YUM. And then going home and?cleaning?the house, doing massive amounts of laundry and playing Wii. Good times. The best way to start out the New Year? CLEAN SHEETS. ‘Nuff said.
Oh! The best thing? I was prolific with the knitting and the spinning. I’ll take pictures soon. Really!?Probably this weekend. And? I have decided today that I am going to finish the CPH this week. I’m starting on the seaming tonight. There is no reason to put this off. And I want to WEAR it and since it is colder than a witch’s tit outside, an alpaca sweater would be a FANTASTIC thing. I amaze myself sometimes with my brilliance.
Also! The yarn I bought? The Blue Sky Alpacas Alpaca Silk?in Ruby and Peacock? They are going to become Endpaper Mitts. I am so happy and excited about this, I could spit. Like an alpaca. *ahem* I bought yarn that called to me because it was pretty and soft. I had no vision as to what they were going to become. I wanted to make some mittens. Turns out? Several people on Ravelry have made Endpaper Mitts with Alpaca Silk and loveloveloved them. One girl had as much yarn as I do (4 skeins, 2 of each color) and made mitts AND a hat. Score! I am so doing that. I love it when a?plan comes together.
So, that’s pretty much it for me right now. I’m still recuperating from the partying and cleaning.
As for New Year’s Resolutions? My resolution is always to make no resolutions. Which then causes me to wonder if that is?a resolution in and of itself.?I then wonder if I therefore have lied to myself about not?making resolutions. Have I??I’m not sure. The jury is still out on that one.

NOW I know where that saying comes from!
Happy New Year!!
Those pics are a riot! What IS the traditional korean new year’s meal? We had our traditional southern meal (beans, greens, ham (and chicken) and cornbread). I’m wishing I had on an alpaca sweater today… just can’t get warm even with wool hand warmers, long johns under my slacks and wool socks! Can’t wait to see your finished CPH.
