I met up with Darlene and Jessi at Starbucks this afternoon to give Darlene her Jabbas and to head over to In The Making with my girls. I had just lamented to them both how I reallyreallyreally wanted to knit a sweater (and just you nevermind the three that are currently languishing in the stash) but just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on yarn right now.
Then we walked right into a 40% OFF THE BAG yarn sale. And somehow I fell down and when I got up and walked out of my LYS? There were 2 bags of chocolate brown Debbie Bliss Prima in my hands. That’s 20 balls of yarn, people. I’m still reeling from how that happened. Anyway, when I got home, I immediately started looking for the perfect pattern. It took me all afternoon, but I finally decided that Angelina from White Lies Designs is the way to go. So I ordered it. And then, because I like to torture myself, I headed over to Knit Picks to look at the Options Interchangeables that I really want, but haven’t been ready to commit to the $$. (SHUT UP. It’s different when it’s not actual yarn.) But guess what? THEY’RE ON SALE. Obviously, this is the universe’s way of telling me to BUY THEM ALREADY and stop pining. So I took the hint.
Unfortunately it’s a hurry up and wait kind of situation now, so I think I’ll go knit something else… like maybe Stardust that I started back in December of 2007.

Haha! Now just how DID that happen??? That pattern is great! Should be fun.
You will be so sexay dahlink! Get knitting!
I can’t wait to see what it knits up like in that color.
I’m so glad we got to hang out some yesterday!
I swore I’d avoid the sale at In The Making and just ended up there the next day. Oh why does the knitting industry collaborate against us? On the upside, today is the first day of spring! I love the Prima. it’s so soft and easy to knit with.
Man, I hate I had to work yesterday. Sounds like fun!
You lucky dog.
I have that Angelina pattern! I should make it one of these days.
Clearly the universe wanted you to start a new sweater.
When you mention “sweater” and “my girls” together, I get wilty.
