I got the call from the insurance company this morning and it just keeps getting better! After the pay off of my totaled car, I’m still getting a check for a little over $4500! This will be a fabulous downpayment on a new car. I called my insurance company to see how much my insurance would go up if I got a RAV4. While it will increase slightly, it won’t increase to an amount that will be unaffordable. YAY!
I have an appointment to meet with the insurance company tomorrow morning at 8am to pick up my check. I’m going to go to the body shop where the Civic is at 7am to get all my crap out of the car. The rental is due back Thursday before 6pm.
Anyway, my dad and I are going car shopping tomorrow after I get off work. WOO HOO! Now, if I can get them to give me the price I want on the car, or rather, the payments I want on the car, then all will be SWEET!
