Woe is Sock

I had about an hour before Alias started free for knitting. So I worked on my beloved sock. Then I dropped four &%#%&! stitches and then one of them unraveled several times and I still can’t get it back right. GGRRRRR. I had such high hopes. So of course I didn’t get to start on my heel like I wanted to. Boo to dropped stitches. I didn’t knit during the commercial breaks like I said I would either. I’m at a stand still until I can figure out what I did wrong!!!! AARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

On a good note, Alias was brilliant last night. I love that show! You do kind of have to suspend a little bit of reality to watch it, but hey, that’s what TV is all about, right? The only thing I found a little weak in the story is what the classified files said that she was reading at the end of season 3 that was the cliffhanger. Wow, what a poorly written run on sentence. Oh well, if you watch the show, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you don’t, click on the link from yesterday’s post.

This morning I was thinking about Hoodie and got her out of her basket. I thought that the front was smaller than the back and was dreading the thought of ripping her back and starting over again. Well, I measured the front against the back and guess? The front is the same size as the back! I didn’t measure in inches, but held them up together against one another and it seems that they are the same so woo hoo! Now I want to work on her again!

Tonight is SnB, but it’s such a pain to get out there from where I work/live now so I think I will just stay home and knit. The plan is to fix sock stitch problem and turn heel. Either at lunch or tonight and then work on Hoodie some also. I’m excited about it and it’ll be nice to sit at home. I haven’t done that in a few days.

In Toby and Bear news, they are getting along wonderfully. In fact, Bear is a little possessive of Toby. Not with me, but when it comes to other dogs. Even dogs Bear knows and has played with are not to play with HIS dog, Toby. Yesterday, we ran into Stagger Lee and his humans and Stagger wanted to play with Toby, but Bear growled at him when he did. I promptly scolded Bear for not sharing, but secretly I was gloating. Isn’t that so ugly of me? I just thought it was the cutest thing that Bear is protective of Toby.
