It seems like so much has happened this past weekend. It’s been kind of crazy. My new roommate moved in this weekend and we did some serious re-arranging of the furniture. I’m really happy with the way things are turning out. We’re going to have a kick ass apartment.
Mykie came Saturday with two truckloads of stuff. We got it all moved in and a lot of it arranged. The kitchen has not looked so good in a very long time. I think I’m really going to like having a roommate who cooks.
My sister and Branton came to visit Saturday evening. She got sick while she was over. Which sucked for her, but was kinda funny. Mykie was convinced that my sister is anorexic. While she was being sick in the bathroom, we were all out in the living room trying to convince him that she eats just fine. Irony, anyone?
I got a flat iron. It’s the best investment I’ve made in quite some time. It not only straightens my hair, it dries it at the same time. I might actually manage to grow my hair out since I can make it look decent and it’s much more manageable straight. I am very happy about this.
I think I’ve figured out a color scheme for my bedroom. I’m a huge fan of chocolate brown and turqoise combined, so I think that’s what I’m going to do in my room. Stay tuned.
