Friday night I went with this hottie
to Bottletree to see Jello Biafra perform spoken word. What actually ended up happening was that I spent most of the night talking to my friend Matthew about the war in Iraq, traveling and the state of America now. It was most enlightening and interesting.
Saturday involved a trip to Prattville with Grant to shoot some photos at this bamboo park.

Grant did the shooting (of photos) of me for a show he’s doing in Atlanta in the fall, so if you want to see them, you’ll have to go to Atlanta. I’ll try to remember to keep anyone interested posted.
Sunday involved laying around the house for the most part and knitting. Rather blissfully, I might add.
Monkeying around is fun. [insert groan here]
And I got my birthday present early from my dad. He gave me a brand new treadmill. Woot! Of course, I may be one of the few people on the planet that thinks this is awesome.

Those monkeys are beautiful!
So are the 2 hotties!
Jello Biafra had a spoken word piece about lying, specifically exhorting all to stop lying. It was fabulous. It changed my life, though not enough.
