Weekend Extravaganza!

I’m not going to bore you with all the details of my weekend except for this one thing that is so totally not boring. There is this place right next to Best Buy that is currently being used as an auction warehouse type thingie. The auction hasn’t happened yet, but it’s coming. However, it appears to be open to the public and you can just go in during normal business hours and peruse all the cool and crazy things that will be up for auction. Also, this auction? They’re having it on Halloween. Yeah, you read that right.

Anyway, I would have never set foot in that place if it wasn’t for this beauty and its twin that were standing outside the doors.

RAWR!!

Because seriously. If I had ridiculous amounts of money that I didn’t know what to do with? I would so totally buy this thing and its twin and put them on either side of my front door. And then maybe get some motion detectors and hook those up to some speakers that were hooked up to a soundtrack that would make growling bear noises when people walked up the steps. And also a video camera to watch people freak the fuck out. I WOULD SO TOTALLY DO IT. But only at night when it would be scarier.

Anyway, after seeing those giant ass bears? I had to go inside and see what other treasures there were. And I was not disappointed. Not. One. Bit.

Bed? Boat? Bed Boat?

I mean, how could you not want something like this?! It’s a bed! A throne! A viking war ship! Cleopatra’s playground! I just wish it was a little more ostentatious. This one is kind of demure for my tastes.

Or what about this?

Everyone Should Have One of These

I mean, who doesn’t want a boob shelf/table that happens to be attached to a tiny, voluptuous woman? I think I would make this my bedside table. Just because.

There was also all kinds of outdoor furniture, antique looking furniture, a coffin that was really a CD storage thingie and a giant Poseidon water feature/statue.  I would have taken a picture but I was too busy being in awe of it. That was B’s favorite.

Well, that and the giant stone mermaid statues posing with dolphins.

Seriously.

Walking out of that place? My mind was BLOWN.
