Tonight is the baby shower and I’m gifting my first baby jester hat to the mother to be. I’m excited to see what her reaction will be. Hopefully, she will be delighted and love it!
I didn’t knit last night. We had a tragedy in the neighborhood. One of our neighbor’s kid’s was hit by a car. Awful! He’s going to live, I think. I hope.
Last night we went over to the neighbor’s and watched National Lampoon’s Van Wilder. The best line of the movie (in my opinion) is when he says: “If he’s here, who’s running hell?”
That pretty much sums up the situation at work. The job I thought was going to pan out did not, so it’s back to square one. I’m looking like mad, though. Surely something will turn up soon…!
