Um, Yeah

So I’ve been feeling a little empty since the sock has been finished. No more threats or anything like that. My other knitting projects are not so forward in their demands to be knitted. Spineless creatures. Oh right, they ARE spineless. Whatever. The sock was cheeky and I liked it.

Anyway…The daisy mae bag is progressing very nicely. I do believe I will be done with side A tonight tomorrow night at the DNCATS meeting. Then I’ll be picking up the stitches for side B. I think that for side B, I will make the petals red and the center of the flower purple. No other reason than just because I can. I love that about knitting.

Tonight I’m going to hear Acceptance play at the Barking Kudu. Looking forward to it. They’re my new favorite band. This means no knitting tonight. I think I’ll be ok. I did work on the brioche scarf at lunch so the withdrawals shouldn’t be too bad. Plus, I’ll be listening to great music. That should soothe my soul about no knitting tonight. So should a few cocktails.

But first, there will be walking in the rain with Bear. And maybe with April and her dog Grace. Speaking of Bear, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted a picture of him. (Note to self: Need to take a picture of the pooch.) He was whiney (read: barking way too much) this morning when I left for work. I don’t blame him really, I’m feeling the same way. It’s been raining for DAYS with no end in site and it’s been in the upper 60s or lower 70s to boot. Hello? What is up with that? This is Alabama. It should be in the 90s and people melting outside. It’s just wrong. Plus, the stupid weather totally ruined plans for spending time on the lake on Memorial day. People were not happy about that. Namely, ME.

O.K. Enough. mindless. drivel. about. weather. Am. boring. myself. zzzzz
