I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors in this yarn so much, I might actually knit with this once I’ve spinished (finished+spinning=spinished) (So totally a word, starting…now.).
It’s a little overspun in some places, but overall I’m rather pleased with my progress as I’m spinning at the highest ratio (11:1) my wheel is capable of for the very first time. Like a virgin, touched for the very first time. Like a Vi-i-i-ir-giiin…
Ahem.
I have learned a very valuable lesson with this high ratio flyer: Treadling like a hamster in a wheel running from a predator is not always the best thing to do. That’s when things start to get out of hand and somewhat spirally in nature. Slow down! Be Zen. Life is good. Smell the roses and all that crap. It’s great.
I’m also doing my best not to spin thread.? I swear to the spinning goddess, I feel like I’m spinning bulky weight yarn but it’s really not. And I like it. A lot.
Yippee!

ooooooo….pretty!!!
what she said…pretty pretty!
That’s lovely! I’m looking forward to being able to knit with something I spin up
I love creating new words. You go girl. Purdy Yarn!
*pets yarn* where’d you get the fiber from?
I’ve finally learned that actually using the yarn I spin hides so many sins. I’m so using that word! Spinished – it’s a good thing
THis is lovely yarn … what kind of fiber? Did you purchase this at SAFF? I have ordered me a wheel and hope to be able to spin something as lovely as this!
That is some purty yarn. I so hope I can spin this good when I finally get my wheel.
