After I got home Sunday from my girls trip, I noticed Charlie had a bump on his ass. Or to be more specific, his hair was standing up in one spot. On a short haired dog, these things are noticeable. He really didn’t want me to look at it, so I had to wrestle him to hold still for a look. And this dog? Wrestling Charlie is an awful lot like wrestling a snake on speed that’s been lubed up with baby oil.
The spot was definitely raw, but there was no way to tell how it got that way. So I called the vet this morning and set up an appointment for Charlie to get violated this afternoon.?The vet thinks he was stung by something and then all his chewing and licking on it got it nice and infected. There was a lot of mashing and cleaning and clipping of hair and applying of ointments, 3 prescriptions and $125 later, I walked out with one very put upon and highly traumatized dog.
Poor Charlie!!
Sounds like Puss when they shaved her butt. Although, that didn’t cost me $125 dollars. lol
OMG! Thank goodness I was not the vet tech on duty for that one. I tell ya, wrestling those little min pins can be hell!
