So, here’s the dirty lowdown. My husband and I are separating and I’m moving into my own place. I sign the lease on Friday and then I’m painting my little heart out Friday night. Right now we’re still living together until I move out on Friday and the reality of the situation is starting to bear down on us. Hence, it’s starting to get a little ugly between us. I’m hoping that we can do our best to remain civil, but we’ll see. Ugh.
I actually have done a little bit of knitting. I went to SnB last Thursday and worked on Friday. She’s coming along nicely. I’ve also been making a hat for a friend of a co-worker’s baby to be. It’s a pumpkin hat. I’ve just started into the decreases so I’ve got 12 rows, including the one I’m currently on before I knit the stem and then it’s done. Yeah! Well, once I get moved in and settled in, I’ll have plenty of time to knit. At least, that’s the plan.
Also, if all goes according to plan, next Saturday, I will have a new friend living with me in my new apartment. But I’ll wait til then to tell you about it and post pictures of the new pad. Thanks for all of ya’ll and your kind thoughts ya’ll have sent my way.
