There are a lot of days lately when I think about my blog and just draw a blank. I mean, I literally visualize a blank piece of paper. Crazy, huh? Sometimes it?s also kind of daunting. It?s like I can?t remember a thing that has happened in the last couple of days or anything that has been on my mind, but that?s not true. Except for when it comes to the blog. So when in doubt, write a list. Right?
Things I have been up to lately:
- Working out.
- Enjoying Kitty. My car is practically the female version of KITT and is therefore named Kitty. Miss Kitty if you?re nasty.
- Thinking about knitting or spinning when I?m laying (or is it lying? Where are my grammar Nazis?) on the couch, but can?t be bothered to get up.
- Avoiding melting while outdoors.
- Yelling at the dog to get out of the cat box: ?THOSE ARE NOT TOOTSIE ROLLS! CHARLIE! GET YOUR ASS UP HERE RIGHT NOW!!?
- Also, does anyone else own an animal that insists on licking the bottom of the shower? BOTH my animals like to do this. It really creeps me out. And it freaks me out after I?ve cleaned the shower because I don?t really care to poison either one of them with the bathroom cleaners. Though don?t ask me about that after Charlie?s been in the cat box YET AGAIN.
- Also, how can something so cute EAT POOP?
- Shopping for the perfect wallet. I?ve found one (technically two, but it?s the same wallet in two different colors) that will do for now, but it is not my holy grail of wallets.
- Bought the cat a nice carpeted scratching post so she will stop scratching the furniture. She sniffed it and then proceeded to scratch the couch. My blood boiled in my veins and I died right there on the spot. We tried putting cat nip on the scratching post and now she has to have a cigarette every time she walks away from the damn thing. So does the dog.
- Another thing! Does anyone else have a dog that loves the catnip in a way that makes you uncomfortable? Or is that just me?
- The never ending battle with the laundry. I don?t want to talk about it.
And I think that pretty much sums it up in a somewhat large nutshell.
Yeah, the way my CAT loves catnip makes me a little uncomfortable. Or maybe just jealous because I can’t remember the last time I loved ANYTHING that much. Is that TMI?
My dog likes licking the bottom of the shower too though. He also drinks out of the birdbath. I think he doesn’t like to drink out of the actual waterbowl because the cat sticks his foot in it sometimes.
Is is true that pets take after their owners? Because what does that say about US?
LOL!!! Yes, my cats and dog lick the shower, too, plsus the tub and toilet. The cats also lick magazines and plastic bags. The dog will chew ANYTHING- yes, even cat poo. My husband will scratch any body part- no matter where is he is when the itch occurs……..
Oh, to be that free…………….
It’s lying. Hen’s lay eggs. People lie. (In oh-so-many ways.)
I wouldn’t worry about the animals and the shower…Puck obsessively licks the rug, and habitually just licks one spot for half an hour at a time…weird.
What about the vacuum?
I’ve never heard about a dog liking catnip, but then again, Charlie is a very *special* dog, eating cat poop and such. LOL
