I want everyone out there who is in a bad workplace and feels like they are trapped to remember this:
I AM SMART, I CAN FIND ANOTHER JOB, AND I DON’T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH BEING TREATED LESS THAN HUMAN.
My dad reminded me of that yesterday and reinforced my decision to get out of here. No salary or benefit package makes up for a verbally abusive boss. AT. ALL.
I feel better than I have in several days. I feel good about myself again. My husband is supporting in this. Life is starting to look like it might get better.

Did you get the new job? I’m on the hunt for one too because I need benefits and things of that nature. Here’s to wishing us both good fortune!
BTW, “Ooooooh, pretty yarn,” says I (referring to the yarn in your other post above this one). Love those reds! But I really don’t need another trip to the LYS just yet!
