Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Geez, what a dork.

I have all this great stuff for baking and whatnot and the most claustrophobic kitchen in the world. I also have the smallest oven in the world. A regulation size cookie sheet is too big for my oven. Sad, no? This means that my fabulous pizza stone doesn’t fit in the oven either. (Cry me a river, right?) Well, B suggested that I bring my pizza stone over one day and we’d make pizza in his normal size oven (it’s a giant compared to mine). Last night, we did just that. We whipped up some pizza dough, and then I stepped back and watched the pro do his magic.

Not only can he toss the dough in the air to make the crust (highly entertaining), but he makes a mean pizza sauce (extremely delicious). We ate almost the entire pizza last night. Yum. I’m drooling just looking at the pictures. Hang on, I’ve got to go get a paper towel and clean off the keyboard……

Sorry about that. I also finally got around to weaving in all the ends to the Autumn Scarf and blocked it in the floor. It was much longer than my blocking board and I didn’t have anywhere in my apartment that had enough carpeted surface AND was cat (hair) free. B let me use his dining room floor. Which is carpeted. And cat (hair) free. The scarf turned out better than I could have hoped. It is 9’10" long. I really couldn’t be more pleased with it. Really. Check it out.

I’m very pleased with the stitch detail, the length of the scarf and that to me, it seems rather unisex.

Chloe was awestruck when she saw it.
