So, I met my friend A for dinner last night. We used to work together. She is a fabulous fabulous person. We had lots of catching up since we hadn’t seen each other since CHISTMAS!!!! Plus, we were celebrating my birthday. Still. I love my birthday this year. It totally rocks. I’ll be celebrating my birthday tonight with J & J, but that’s a post for tomorrow. Back to last night….so, we’re having drinks and dinner at my favorite restaurant ~ Rojo. We were also sitting right next to the door.
Guess who walks in while we’re there? My old boss. Whom A still works for. Coincidence? I’m not sure. Probably more like stupidity on his part. Anyway, how bizarro was that? He made a huge deal about seeing us there, and when he came back inside to order another drink at the bar, he came up behind me (easy to do since I was sitting with my back to the door) and grabbed my shoulders and was kissing all over the back of the top of my head as a joke. I think. He tried to be funny about it like he was one of my "millions of suitors" I believe is what he said. Thankfully, we left before he came back a third time. Sheesh.
OK. I just read that over. It just sounds creepy, doesn’t it?
I haven’t really been knitting too much as of late. The last time I picked up my knitting was Satur. I was working on sleeve #2 when I realized that while I had almost finished the ribbing for the sleeve, I had done it all with the WRONG SIZE NEEDLES. Way to go, moron. I ripped it out and cast back on and just kind of lost steam. Plus, with the whole DOG WHO RAN AWAY incident, knitting wasn’t really at the top of my to do list. Knitting will probably resume later in the week.
