Sick. Twisted. Horrible. Evil.

These are a few descriptive terms that may be applied to my person. The reason why? Well, my cat is in heat and I’ve got to get her fixed, but the fact that she’s trying to entice the rabbit to have sex with her is, well, pretty damn hilarious. I was too busy laughing to try to make some video of this, but maybe tonight. I took pictures instead.

There will be no interspecies erotica in my house, no matter how hard Chloe tries to back it up to Sugar Ray. Though, I think he might be warming up to her a little. Not in a "Hey Baby" kind of way, but in a "I’m willing to tolerate you" kind of way.

After I took these pictures, Mykie and I rearranged the living room to get all my old roommate’s stuff out of there and into the dining room. We moved Sugar Ray into the living room and he’s got his own little corner and he’s getting pretty comfortable there.

After rearranging the living room, Mykie and I sat down on our respective futons (facing one another) and just knit and talked and watched tv. I’m in heaven.

At one point, he looked up at me and just laughed, "We’re just two crazy cat ladies who knit." I started laughing and told him not to forget about Sugar Ray, so he amended it to "exotic animals."

What was I knitting? Fetching. I’m almost done with the first one and I have to say, it’s turning out to be quite beautiful. I’m using Debbie Bliss Soho in the 05 colorway.

I might be in love with this yarn a little. The subtleties of the hue changes of the blue make me want to weep. Well, maybe not weep, but they definitely move me. I imagined that this yarn would knit up pretty and I have not been disappointed.

And no, I’m not showing you a picture of the gloves until they’re done.
