I really want to be done with these socks. Technically, I should already be done with these socks. However, turns out that reading is not something I’m?very good at. Or, at the very least, I have complete disregard for what I read. See, according to the pattern for Monkey, when you get to the toe decreases, you should STOP DECREASING when you have 28 stitches on the needle.
This seems simple, right?
WRONG.
If you are me, you will knit until there are 16 stitches on the needle and then wonder why the sock looks weird and not at all like the first one. Then you’ll read the directions again and notice that it said 28 stitches. Then you’ll mentally faceplant when you realize that you could’ve already been done 24 ROUNDS AGO.
FUCK.

hehehehehehe….
been there. done that.
Yet another reason why I don’t knit socks. lol
So does this mean on Ravelry you can say it’s 110% complete?
ROTL Sounds like something I would do.
Sounds like they are almost finished though!
Hmmmm…..perhaps this is why mine looked a bit wonky at the toe???
I guess when all else fails READ…..and thanks so much for pointing this out!! LOL!!!!
Start decreasing every row and do a star toe. That is what I did.
I think you should pass them on to Darlene to finish!!! LOL
At least you hadn’t already kitchenered them closed.
Oh, you poor thing! Clearly you need a cocktail.
I hate it when that happens
