So our second date was much more fruitful and meaningful and we just spent hours together. We’re still having some tension issues, but for the most part, we’re totally zen.
I sat down with the wheel (who really needs a name), listened to my current audiobook (His Dark Materials: The Amber Spyglass) and just went to town. I even tried my hand at plying. You’re right Elizabeth, it IS fun!
I really want to dye this yarn. There was a part of me that wanted to dye the roving before I spun it, but the overwhelming need to spin won out. I’ve nearly used up all the practice roving that Susan sent with my wheel. NEED. MORE. ROVING. Oh yeah, and I need a jumbo flyer and jumbo bobbins for more plying. Sheesh, already I’m such a junkie.
It just gets worse. Trust me.
