SAFF!

You’ve got to love a man who can simultaneously appreciate your excitement at attending a fiber festival while still managing to tease you about it all in the same breath. And then in the next breath wonders aloud if he has any cold weather gear he can lend you. What a sweetheart.

That’s right, tomorrow morning, Elizabeth, Ginny and I are heading out to SAFF. I’ve never been to a fiber festival and I can’t wait! And, we’re going to meet other knitbloggers! How cool is that?

We’re planning on getting there tomorrow evening and setting up camp. Yup. Camp. As in tent and sleeping bag camping, not posh cabin in the woods camping. I solemnly swear that I will bring deoderant deodOrant (spelling corrected to appease B) and use it liberally. Saturday we’ll be wandering around in a daze buying yarn and god knows what else and meeting up with bloggers. Sunday, Elizabeth and I are taking a spindling class and then we’ll be driving back home shortly after its done.

I haven’t bothered with a list of vendors or anything like that because I have unshakeable faith that Ebeth has already printed out a list of vendors a map of where they are located, and the best possible path to hit all of them in one day. She’s good like that. Besides, I want it to be suprise. I’m not really sure what to expect besides roving and wool and wooly beasts and lots of fiber enthusiasts and I’m ok with that.

See you when we get back!
