SAFF is a special, magical time in a knitter/spinner/fiber enthusiast’s life. This year, we decided to celebrate SAFF by staying in a cabin. There was more fun than can be described and probably should have been illegal. I am never going to do this post justice with words.
My pictures. Let me show you them.
When you put a bunch of fiber lovers in a room together, they tend to do stuff like this.
Trindles were all the rage this year. Hockeymom demonstrated:
Oh! And we were also visited by an angel.
And there was Wii.
There are two camps of Dance Dance Revolution Dancers.
Serious dancers:
And not so serious dancers (also known as: you accidentally set your setting to expert and you’re screwed, so fuck it):
But there are only serious Mario Kart Racers:
Also? Sleep is optional at the SAFF Cabin of Awesomeness as none of got very much sleep. AT ALL. And there were lots of purchases. LOTS. But those are for another post. Right now, I need to spend some quality time with my wheel, Jezebel, who missed me while I was away.

MARIO KART IS SRS BIZNES!!!!
I had no idea my nose looked like that from the side. I guess I didn’t know my angles as well as Tyra wants me to.
That has to be the fanciest cabin in the South East…I was confused when you said “cabin” and Wii dance dance revolution before you left…I thought you were camping – this makes so much more sense now. And it looks like you guys had lots o fun too! yay!
LOL Love the videos. Sista got some moves!
When I play Mario Kart with my kids, I relentlessly try to trounce them.
MARIO KART IZ SRYS!!
I’m still on a SAFF high – haven’t even unpacked my purchases yet!
WOW!! That was a great “cabin”. Looks like a nice comfy home! Looks like you guys had a great time.
