Random Thoughts Tuesday. It IS Tuesday, Right?

There’s nothing really cohesive in my brain (imagine that!) so I’m just going with the random thoughts that swirl in my head at this very moment. Kinda like breaking news, but not.

1.  I really need to practice sitting lady like when I’m wearing a dress or a skirt. Crossing your legs in a manly fashion while wearing a skirt is, well, not lady like.

2.  Can deodorant go bad? I keep deodorant in a drawer at my desk at work. I used it this morning and it smelled…well, not oxygen fresh like the packaging says. More like stale plastic. I used it anyway, but does this mean that it won’t work as well? Or is it just that if you don’t use it for awhile the smell factor stops working? OK, I just looked and there’s an expiration date on the bottom, but there’s a letter or two missing. It looks like "J" missing letter and then either an "A" or an "R." I’m assuming the last two are the digits 06 and not D6. So, I guess deodorant can go bad. For some reason I thought it had a shelf life of maybe 1000 years or so. I have no facts or reasons on which to base this belief. It’s just something I believed. Wrongly. However, this does not explain the weird smell.

3.  The VIVIAN is coming!!!! YAY!!! Sister has a performance starting this Thursday that’s for 3 nights only. She calls it a concert. I say it’s a dance performance. Bottom line is that she’s dancing with other humans. I need to find out when The VIVIAN is getting here. I have not seen The VIVIAN in several years so I am extremely excited about this, not to mention she is bringing her man with her. I hope we don’t scare him. When the three of us (as in Sister, The VIVIAN and me) get together, we can be a little…..overwhelming. Or so we’ve been told.

4.  I suppose this is technically 5 because 3 had two components that are related, but separate.

6.  Our favorite coffee shop for knitting has changed ownership and is now no longer cozy or conducive to a knitterly atmosphere. We’d all like to get together tomorrow night to knit, but where? This is a small problem.

7.  My favorite LYS is moving closer to me! YIPPEE!!!! This officially means I will now be broke ALL THE TIME. I’ve never been so happy to be so poor. But at least I’m realistic about it.

I think that’s it for now. I could go on, but it’s probably best if I don’t.
