1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer high-end/natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you?
I am a little bit of a yarn snob. I prefer natural fibers, with the exception of high quality novelty yarns. I am not a big fan of Red Heart as it seems to split whenever I knit with it. I can’t stand that. However, I love a great bargain, and find most anything that is on sale to be quite attractive. 
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
No.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)
I seem to be allergic to pollen, but have never been officially tested. However, I cannot stand the smell of smoke. It makes me sick to my stomach.
4. How long have you been knitting?
Since December of 2003. Not long at all.
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?

6. What’s your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
Candles: My new favorite scent is Madagascar by Archipelago Botanicals, but it’s kinda expensive. I really like most all candles except for the fruity ones. I like clean scents.
7. Do you have a sweet tooth?
Yes. I have the ass to prove it, too. 
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
You mean there’s more to do than knitting?
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if you want to make her a CD)
I like most everything, even some country, but I don’t care much for speed metal, heavy metal (unless its 80s hair band heavy metal) or rap. My favorite genres are punk and emo.
10. What’s your favorite color? Or–do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer?
I love winter colors. Deep, rich colors, but not yellow or orange. I do NOT like pastels, but I love variety in colors.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
Well, my family situation is currently changing status from married to single, but I do have my wonderful dog, Bear. He is all the family I want!
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know)
I’ll let you know when I know. Right now, it’s to find the perfect job, or at least something close to it.
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?
My favorite yarn is any kind of wool.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
Crappy acrylic.
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?
Right now, it’s a poncho. In a few more months, it will be a mohair hoodie that I started about 9 months ago.
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
I have to pick one? I’m really enjoying the poncho right now, but it’s not incredibly challenging, which is what I need at the moment. I am a stress knitter, so I like things that are easy to knit and don’t have a major pattern to memorize.
17. What are you knitting right now?
Poncho.
18. What do you think about ponchos? (this is really a curiousity question for us)
Yes.
19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?
Both. I just got some Denise Interchangeables and I LOVE them!
20. How did you learn to knit?
I taught myself using Debbie Stoller’s Stitch ‘n Bitch. I love that book!
21. How old is your oldest UFO?
About 9 months old.
