Last night at SNB, I took the yarn with me that I posted about a while back about that my MIL got for me. It’s a wool/acrylic blend. Anyway, we decided that since I have 5 skeins of the blue/green color scheme, I should make a poncho with it. Hence all the poncho yarn photos. 
I’ll be starting on that this weekend right after I finish my bikini bottom.
The bikini bottom is almost done. I’ve got about 5cm left to knit on the before doing the i-cord ties on the sides for the back piece. Then, since I discovered that the bikini will sit very low (read: indecent for public viewing) since I stuck to the measurements, I decided to knit a little “swatch” about 6cm long that both the front and back will be seamed into so that it will not sit so low (read: decent for public viewing).
Somewhere between finishing the bikini and starting the poncho, I have got to make the orange baby jester hat. I find myself less willing to work on something when I’ve been asked to make something for a friend of a friend. I think I’m going to quit saying yes to stuff like that. Frees up more time for me to knit things I want to knit!
