My new camera was delivered yesterday. It was waiting for me on my bed when I got home. I don’t have pictures of my camera, but I do have pictures of the carnage after I opened the box. Behold.
As you can see from her expression, Chloe thinks I’m incredibly messy, and yet she’s not entirely sure that’s a bad thing because it means she gets to sit on paper, and she does love to sit on paper. (And yes, I took these pictures with the new camera.)
The camera came with a 32 MB XD card and batteries so I popped those bad boys in and immediately started taking pictures. Once I used that one up (it only held 25 pictures), I moved on to my current 256 MB XD card. I ordered a 1 GB XD card from amazon.com, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Should be here soon, though.
I’m just starting to play around with the toys on flickr. I’ve seen this one used a few times. Let me just say this: IT ROCKS!
And speaking of rocking, so does my new camera! It’s a FujiFilm FinePix S5200. It’s an upgrade in function, but not in pixels, but I’m more than happy with it. I wanted a camera with a stronger zoom and a better macro function, and I think I definitely got that. Most of the photos in the montage are macro shots, and I am SO impressed with this camera. And price wise it did not break the bank at all. It’s not an SLR camera, but it’s as close to being an SLR camera as you can get, I think. I am very impressed.
Also, did I mention I was impressed with this camera?
