Dscf0058 I finished the sock yesterday. I even cast on for sock #2. However, my wrist was feeling a little bit abused so I decided to take a break from knitting. I also would like to inform all of you that I cleaned off this couch. Actually, it’s a futon. It used to be Bear’s futon. Let’s just say it was gross. I vacuumed the hell out of it and now it is presentable for human use. I am very proud and happy about this. My living room looks 1000% better.

Dscf0039Dscf0040Look at how "bling-y" my bedspread is! Uh, actually, just look at the hoodie. I also took another self-portrait in the hoodie. This time with the hood up. I am still loving this thing. I also haven’t blocked it yet. It’ll happen …. one day. I am still so happy that I finished this sweater.

The sister came to visit me Sunday. We both had Monday off, so she ended up spending the night. We hung out, ate food, did some almost midnight shopping, watched a movie. You know, the usual.

Um, about that last picture. Naomi and I are always cracking jokes about being asian, or as we call it, "yellow". Have you ever seen asian tourists? They’re always holding up the peace sign when they have their picture taken. We we’re playing on that. Except we were in our "hometown" of the America, as it were. We don’t really have a hometown, so the Birmingham is the next closest thing. Anyway, now that I’ve explained it to you, it is not funny at all. *sigh*

Oh, and of course, I had to play with the camera some more. I have a ton of candles on my mantle in the living room. I lit them all and had some fun with the macro function on the camera. So, without further ado, I present to you some artsy pictures of candles on my mantle.
