Funny how something may be so obvious to you and yet totally elusive to everyone around you. Kind of like Friday’s picture.? I got several guesses and a few “I give ups” and only one person came close to what it was. My friend Lauren said aqua pod. That’s close enough.
It’s the bottom of a large Aquafina water bottle.
I was thinking about how good a cold glass of water is when you’re hot and your throat is parched. I was also thinking about how great it is when the rain comes after a drought. I was also thinking about a story I read as a kid about a guy who was trying to write a dictionary and was having trouble coming up with a definition for “delicious.” He goes around asking different people what is delicious to them and he never gets the same answer twice. Somehow, the water supply gets cut off from the village and once it is restored, he and everyone else never tasted anything so sweet or as good as water. Thus, he defines delicious as water.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Or did I make this story up in my head? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Anyway, so the title of the post refers to the water in the bottle.
