Does it really matter?

I’ve had a spate of crappy times here recently. Part of the reason of lack of blogging and any kind of decent content. Things are looking better and that’s pretty much all I want to say about that. There is a silver lining on this black cloud.

I had a fabulous Thanksgiving. It was just Scott and me. We slept in late, had French Toast for breakfast. Well, really more like brunch. We went hiking at Oak Mountain to test out new trails to run. We might have found one we like. We fixed steaks for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great day, the weather was fantastic and conducive to hiking.

Friday night we went to one of my all time favorite Mexican Restuarants, Las Pinatas. It was Scott’s first time there and received an enthusiastic two thumbs up. We also went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Now, I love a good Harry Potter movie, and I was not totally disappointed with the movie, I (we, actually) felt that the movie was simply a "get from point A to point B" kind of a movie. The whole point of the movie was that….well, if you haven’t seen it, I’m not going to spoil it for you. I hope the next movie focuses more on the story. This movie just seems to set you up for the next one. At least we don’t have to worry about there being a next one.

I didn’t do anywhere near as much knitting as I had originally planned, but I am 15" from finishing the super secret project.

I am consigning some of my knitting at my friend Suzanne’s shop, Zan’s Urban Antiques. I’m really excited about that, but I need to find some notecards to write down fiber content and care instructions as well as what it is. I want the notecards to be something that reflects me. Tall order, no? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Better get cracking!
