Seriously. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Yesterday afternoon I met up with Elizabeth of Trailing Yarn and our blogless friend Ginny for some knitting and libations. It was slightly overcast, cooler than it had been all day and we were sitting in front of a nice big oscillating fan. When it got too dark to knit, we just sat around and caught up. It was great. We’re all going to SAFF together in October so there was some discussion about getting there and we’re definitely set on camping out while we’re there. I can’t wait!
I’m not sure what this says about us (other than we’re sock obsessed), but we were all working on socks. It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t intentional. It just happened. I suppose great minds really DO think alike.
Oh yeah, and Ebeth is such a sweetie and gave me two balls of Regia sock yarn that she scored at Knit Nouveau’s moving sale (because she only bought like 6 balls of the stuff).
Life is good.

Yeah, well, maybe I was planning to make tights! Bumblebee tights! Ha! That would require a lot more than six skeins.
I knew they’d be gone by the time you got out there, so I snatched ‘em up. I’m nice that way. I’m mailing my registration form for the spindling class TODAY.
Aaaah, beer and knitting. *clink*
For some reason I want a Newcastle Brown Ale just now.
Ahhh! Newcastle and sock knitting. Two of my favorite things! Good luck with that second sock. I think the second sock syndrome is a lot of nonsense my first sock always takes the longest!
