TheHat(e)needs to be frogged and reknit at a smaller gauge. I have no reason not to do this and have putting it off for a shamefully long time. –I am working on this right now. Just started the decreases so I should be done today or tomorrow.Finished 2/29/08 -
I need to finish theMonkey socks. I think I might be able to cross them off the list by Sunday as they are my current carry around project again.Finished 2/27/08 -
Scott?s hat needs to be finished. The first time around, it was just a tad too big on him. I frogged it and started it again and then lost steam. It?s a hat people, that shouldn?t have happened. I have a feeling I?ll be frogging it one more time and then really giving it a go.
-
The Raglan sweater that I started maybe 3 years ago? Damn. I need to finish it. It?s in the round. I got to the armpits, started on a sleeve, lost faith in the pattern and stopped knitting it. It?ll actually?be really pretty when it?s done so I should finish it.
-
The Pink Baby Blanket. I started this thing several years ago. I figured it would be good to have on? hand in case I had to go to a baby shower or something. Lost steam and quit. Which is stupid. Well, a friend of mine is finally having a little girl and she is going pink crazy. I?d like to add to her pink-mania with this blanket, so I should get on this before the baby is born.
-
Stardust. Um, she was set aside for the Henry Rollins Doll. I like knitting Stardust, she just got tossed aside for something shiny and new. And speaking of HRD.
-
HRD. The show is 2 weeks from yesterday. I?ve got everything but his head knit up. I actually started seaming up his sweater last night. Turns out? Seaming a BLACK sweater in poor lighting is worse than a blind man looking for a needle in a haystack.Finished 2/19/08 -
Kiri Shawl. I was in love with this?shawl until I fucked it up somehow. I need to rip back to the beginning of the current repeat I?m on and start over. It probably wouldn?t hurt to use stitch markers for this one. I?ve got awesome new shiny stitch markers from Stick that are dying to go on this project. This is also a project for my MIL, so I?d like to have it done in time for Christmas, at the least. That should be doable. Especially since it?s February.
-
Flower Basker Shawl. I have wanted to knit this for a very long time. I have the pattern, the perfect yarn and a recipient in mind. This will be Christmas gift numero dos for my stepMIL. It will be perfect for her. I have 11 months to accomplish this. I think that is sufficient time to get it done.
-
Endpaper Mitts and Hat. I have the yarn. I want to make these. I need to be Nike and just do it.
-
Socks for Aunt Betty. She has asked for socks. I have yarn for socks. I think you see where this is going.
-
Arrgyle socks for B. These are the only things he?s really shown interest in wanting something that is handknit. I should make them for him. I had started on them, messed up the pattern (are you starting to see a pattern here?), got frustrated, ripped them, and haven?t started over. Granted, I hate the yarn, but I have it, and I have a lot of it, so I should just suck it up and finish them. The yarn is uber splitty. I?ll get over it.
-
Spin up enough yarn to make socks for myself.
-
Dye the roving that I bought specifically to dye.
-
Trellis. I bought the yarn for this last night. I promised a sweater to a previous co-worker who?s wife just had a baby. I need to go buy one more ball as I would like to make the 12 or 18 month size so that it actually sees some wear.
-
Finish the socks I started at SAFF. I bought some awesome sock yarn in a pink/black colorway. I started them and then left them for no reason. I think it probably had something to do with finding something else new and shiny to knit. I have knitter?s ADD for sure.I frogged this and it went?back into the stash.
Considering that I started a month late for Mission Possible 2008, I’m not?doing too bad.?Now if I can just stay the course and knitify….

Looks like a great to do list!!!! Smart to put it on paper….all organized…which I am SOOOO not!! LOL!!!
Go Gra-ace, go Gra-ace, it’s your birthday, it’s your birthday!
OY VEY! This is exactly why I won’t list my UFO’s, it’s too frightening.
I have no UFOs. Nope. Not a one. And no you may not look upstairs.
Endpaper Mitts. Do it. They’re awesome!
i was thinking of knitting kiri! I have two skeins of malabrigo lace that have been at me for weeks to be knitted up.
“hey! hey! you! with the sweater knitting! aren’t you sick of all that stockinette? wouldn’t you rather be suffering over lace? why don’t you at least come pet us for a bit, huh?”
damn evil malabrigo. I knew I should have had it blessed by a priest before I brought it home.
Not that I think you’d fib about such a thing, but let’s see a picture of the alleged Monkey socks on your feet.
I have an unfinished list as well – mostly construction projects (like remodel kitchen) that stretches on into the future. I should be working on that, not commenting on your blog.
My list would be toooo long, and frustrate the hell out of me, so why put that much pressure on myself?! Congratulations for sticking to yours…. I want to see those monkeys!
