I kinda sorta broke my most recent cell phone so I’ve reverted back to using my old phone that seems to be the closest thing to indestructable as far as phones go. It’s awfully big compared to my last phone, but it’s functional so I like it. And it’s really not so much that I’m hard on phones as I’m just clumsy.

I am addicted to audiobooks. I have several that I downloaded from Audible. I love listening to the audiobooks while I knit or *cough*cleanhouse*cough* or run. I heart my iPod. I’ve also dropped this a few times, but it’s holding up really well. Again. Clumsy.

This nifty little piece of metal is my business card holder. There are actually business cards in it too. It’s from Korea and it’s inlaid with mother of pearl. Ironically, while I happen to love this little card holder, I cannot stand the person who gave it to me. This person drives me up the wall. Oh well. (Also, you’ve probably noticed by now that I have a penchant for things that are silver in color.)

These are some random things that are always in my bag. I don’t carry a purse. I carry a bag. (It’s kind of a dark army green color. Not silver.) Split stitch markers, a bit of yarn (I’m pretty sure it’s dk weight baby alpaca), an eraser that looks like a $20 bill (Little Man gave me that) and a Japanese card holder from my friend Aure (really bad faux French for "Lauren"). I cannot explain to you why these things are always in my bag, but they are. Wait. The stitch markers are explainable: I’m a knitter. Duh.

B gave me this shirt. It came from one of the vendors his company works with. (Once upon a time shortly before I graduated from college, I started working for a local free weekly publication as a temp – general office whatever. I eventually became an AE. I think that if the management had been better organized and they had offered me benefits (I didn’t have any because of the way I was set up. Longer story.), I would probably have stayed in it longer than I did. I do remember that one of the perks of being in sales is that sometimes you get swag. Sometimes it’s pretty rockin’ swag. I miss that about being in sales, but don’t miss the sales part so much.) It’s comfy and fits perfectly. Bonus: I really need new clothes and I didn’t have to go shopping to get this t-shirt. How great is that!
