OK, so my one attempt at lace knitting was the I DO shrug from Knitty. It didn’t take. Mostly because, well, I hated the yarn (very splitty and frayed.). And also, I would put it down for large amounts of time and forget where I was in the pattern. The actual knitting of the lace part, I liked.
Anyway, I’m thinking about attempting lace one more time. But I have to be difficult about it and that means doing it my way. All the lovely designs that Scott has made me? I want to try a couple of them as lace. I was going to do this last night, but *ahem* fell asleep at 5:30 last night. Anway, since I have no prior experience at knitting lace (I don’t think three failed attempts really count) I guess this will be a trial and error of sorts. So what am I saying? Stay tuned. That’s what I’m saying.

You’re braver than I am. I have yet to try it.
Try Branching Out (from Knitty). It’s pretty easy. Or Midwest Moonlight or Misty Garden from Scarf Style. They’re super easy.
Ooh, sounds exciting! I don’t know nearly enough lace to help, but I hope it goes well
