Believe it or not, but in between the rambling and the ranting, I actually do knit. Really. I even have proof. (Warning: Kind of picture heavy.)
I finished one scarf:
I think I’ve already shown you this scarf. Maybe I just showed it to you while it was in progress. I still haven’t woven in the ends or blocked it, but it’s long. I think it might be longer than Celeste, but I haven’t tested this theory out yet. I also haven’t blocked it yet because I don’t have the necessary carpeted floor space to do so. Add in the fact that I have a hyperactive kitten who loves my yarn too much (I don’t want to talk about the three separate incidents of yarn carnage I have witnessed in the past week and a half) and it turns out that there is no where in my apartment to block this scarf. Also, disregard the fact that my bed is horribly unmade. I made it up after I took the pictures. I swear it.
Here’s the current scarf in progress:
The first picture is from last night. The other two are from this morning. It grew a little since last night, but for some reason I was unable to capture that in the photos. It looks really sloppy right now, but it’s going to look great when it’s blocked. I just know it.
As for the kitten, who is oh so cute but almost impossible to photograph unless she is sleeping, she is growing, but she’s still a tiny thing. Behold.
I wear a women’s 6 or 6.5 depending on the (dirty) shoe. When sitting, Chloe does not appear to be much larger than my shoe. She’s a little over 3 months old. Cute! Dainty! Evil! Yup, she’s my kitten.

I love the “fall-like” scarf…it’s BEEOOTEEFOOL!!!
Also, no…the bear has been blindfolded with kleenex to conceal our identity. It’s really for his safety, I would have hated to kill him.
That’s a cute overload dot com picture if I ever saw one. I suggest photoshopping in a more elegant shoe.
Whadda you know about shoes, Bob?
