I finished Present #2 Tuesday night around midnight. I got a little obsessed with finishing it. I can admit that. However, I did get it in the mail yesterday. I was very happy about that. The Alabama Scarf was received with great thanks and excitement. That made me very happy.
I took a break from knitting last night, did a little reading and went to bed at a VERY decent hour: 9:30. I also stopped at the store on the way home and somehow, 2 movies made it into my basket. I can’t imagine how. 
I ended up bringing home Tomb Raider (the first one) and The Sweetest Thing. I don’t know that I could have found two other polar opposite movies involving women. Well, probably, but I like dichotomy.
I finally found a pattern that I liked for the Santa Hat so I will be starting it tonight. I have decided that after I finish the Santa Hat, I will resume working on poor, neglected Hoodie. I started on the front, but I’m 99% sure it is a size smaller than the back. That is simply not going to work so I’ll probably end up frogging, chunking what’s on the needles and starting over. Luckily, I have plenty of yarn and what I’ve started is minimal. Does anyone know how to successfully frog mohair without breaking it? I like knitting it, but not frogging it. Oh well, I’ll figure something out.
