This is the squishiest, smooshiest, yummiest yarn I have ever had the pleasure to knit with. And I just got done knitting with SeaSilk. I do believe that is saying something, no? I LOVE this yarn. And the colorway is totally lickable. Every time I pick up this yarn I swoon. And then when I start knitting? TOTAL HANDGASM.
I am attempting two socks on magic loop toe up. It’s fiddly, but I like it. This is such a FTW situation for everybody because
- Two socks at once means no Second Sock Syndrome. *shudder*
- Toe up is my sock religion. ESC converted me.
- B finally gets a knitted pair of socks from me.
- They’re not black.
- Did I mention the handgasm?
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go have a private moment with my yarn. Discuss amongst yourselves: Do budding toe up socks look like nipples to you? Yes or no. Explain your answer in detail.
OK I’ll bite. I’ve seen a nipple or two in my day, and if I ever came across a nipple (or a pair of them) what looked like those socks, I’m pretty sure I’d run. Away, of course.
I think he has only seen two nipples. That’s what I heard anyways……
I was laughing when I saw the title of your post. Then I openend it and realized you were talking about MY YARN!!! YAY! That is so exciting! Thanks so much for the great write up and I’m so glad that you love it! Think I can market it as the “Handgasmic Sock Yarn”?
Oh and nipples – agreed – those would be some scary looking nipples. But toe up is totally the way to go – welcome to the cult (er, I mean club).
I saw a photo once of a woman who had her nipples tattooed blue. They were beautiful, actually. In a creepy, undead lover sort of way.
Nope…I still maintain that the dead center of the Hemlock Ring Blanket looks the most nipple-like.
