I’m not sure how I feel about this sock. I love double seed stitch, and yet, I can’t decide whether or not I like it for socks. I’ve been knitting away feeling less than fresh certain that this is the right decision. What is wrong with me? I don’t know, but I’ve decided to do the sensible thing. I’ve decided to ask blogland.
So the questions is: (Click on the question to go to the poll.)

Does the reverse side look the same? It looks kind of… inside out to me. And about about using Knitty’s RPM pattern? It’s sort of the same-but-different…
I like it, but I’d probably switch to stocking stitch for the foot or at least the bottom of the foot, I’m not sure that would be comfy on the foot.
I like it!! I’m with Elanknits….I would switch to stocking stitch for the foot….Hah! I sound like I really know something don’t I? LOL!!
I say go with what you’ve got!!
I think it’s more about your happiness that it is about how much it appeals to Bloglandia. If you’re less than happy knitting it, it’ll become a tedious slog that you’ll not enjoy knitting.
If you’re not happy, rip that sucker.
I say you should make it like one of those big long over-the-calf tube socks with maybe a pair of green or mustard yellow stripes at the top. That would be rad.
I’m not sure I like it with that particular yarn. I agree with Emily on the inside-out-ness where the stripes change. But like La said, it’s your sock!
What B said. Only make it with red and blue stripes so it will match your underoos that you’re wearing to SAFF.
