Right this very minute I would kill for some shrimp fried rice. But that’s neither here nor there.
I am a huge fan of bathroom graffiti, so long as it is entertaining. I found this to be a little gem. It’s from the women’s bathroom at the Garage. I met some friends for drinks at the Garage to celebrate a few people graduating from college and to hang out.
Then there was my sister performing at the Synarts Art Opening also on Friday night. That was a treat and fun and there was also art on the walls and a few bands played. The Rudy Banes Shutdown played. They’re are always a treat to hear. There was also some post-adolescent boy who was very angry and his performance art was, well, bad.
Then it was on to The Bourbon Street Bar to hang with friends and listen to them karaoke. I have yet to get up there and perform, but I love to sing along and enjoy my friends karaoking their hearts out. So fun! On the way to the karaoke bar, we saw this:
Please ignore the fact that my car is in desparate need of a wash. It turned out to be a carnival in the parking lot of the mall. I kinda wish now that we had gone to the carnival after leaving Bourbon Street. I wonder if it’ll be there this weekend…..

hmmm.. fried rice… i remember jeddah has loads of restaurants with those.. especially the one near SARAWAT.. damn.. im hungry…
