I Think It?s Called a Sucker Punch

Saturday afternoon, B and the Boy went shopping for reasons that could not be disclosed to me. coughcough*birthdaypresentforme*coughcough While they were gone, I received a phone call from B.

B: Hey

Me: Hey

B: I have a question.

Me: OK.

B: Hypothetically, the silver [PSP] one isn?t available but the red one is. Would you rather get the red one now or wait and I?ll order the silver one online and you can have the silver one, just not on your birthday. Hypothetically.

Me: Just get the red one. Hypothetically, of course.

B: Of course! OK. And while we?re discussing hypothetical situations, there?s an 80GB PS3 here and since we got our stimulus check?

Me: All right fine. Go ahead and get it. It?ll be our anniversary present.

B: Thanks, baby! You?re getting a wheel for Christmas.

And that?s how our first anniversary really did become the PS3 anniversary. (Though the PS3 is actually an early anniversary present since our anniversary is still a little less than a month away.)

  • Sounds like a good anniversary to me. :-)

  • New wheel! Yes! lol…clearly your gaming systems must now be complete – no?

  • PSP? PS3? :) You guys sound like us. I don’t have a psp, but I do have a ps3, and xbox360, and a wii…and a nintendo DS. I just need that PSP and my collection will be complete…

(BTW, Metalgear Solid 4 is really cool. I didn’t like GTA Liberty city, though. My husband played that one.)
