I have to treat myself for my birthday and I did it last night at SnB. Mercedes is a crafty girl to have SnB at her shop, Knit Nouveau, and keep it open for purchases during SnB. Smart girl. Anyway, lucky for her I decided to buy some stuff for me for my birthday. So I started by getting this:
Then, I purchased 4 skeins of Lamb’s Pride Bulky wool yarn. 3 in varying shades of purple and one skein of turquoise to make the striped tote on the front of the book. I also got a skein of dark green Lamb’s Pride worsted weight wool to use with the Limeade to make David a hat. He says he wants a beanie now instead of the jester hat because he would wear a beanie more. If he says he’ll wear it more, then I am most certainly inclined to make it. 
I also got a lot done on my bikini bottom last night, believe it or not, and the changes I’ve made to the pattern are turning out great! I am so excited about that! I’m hoping to get the front done tonight while also doing laundry that desparately needs to be washed.
Other great news for me, I got 12 free tickets to the Comedy Club for my birthday! Some comedian named Tim Wilson. I was informed that he is in fact funny. Good to know. I’m excited.
I also am applying for a job today that really seems up my alley. Here’s hoping to that going well! That would be the best birthday present ever! Happy Friday,everyone!
