I Could Get Used to This

The Boy went all out for me on Mother’s day. We celebrated it on Saturday and I was greeted first thing in the morning with a lovely card that he made just for me that came with Mom Coupons.

How awesome is that? This one is my favorite:

I love his handwriting.

This sweet visor he made for me.

How awesome is that?

There was also an extremely tasty Thai lunch followed by Speed Racer. I don’t care what the stupid critics say, I loved the movie. It was fantastic and cartoony.

And then if that wasn’t good enough, when we got back home this was waiting for me at the front door:

So yeah, best mother’s day weekend ever.

Next post? I show you the yummy goodness my girl Em sent me.

  • What a WONDERFUL first Mother’s Day for you!!!

  • My card had, “My mom is so smart, she even knows how to drive a car or tank or something!” ROTFL His teacher had asked them all these questions and then wrote down their answers for them to put in the cards. It was the sweetest thing to read all his answers!

Glad you had a wonderful Mother’s Day!

  • Cool card! What are you going to use the coupon for???? ‘Cause you gotta make it good! lol

My son’s card had the question thing, and for “How much does your mother weigh” he’d written 7600, but then scratched it out and put 100. Nice!

  • That is the sweetest thing ever!

  • That’s so awesome! I found an old card Drew made for me in my lingerie drawer (sounds much nicer than it is) and it cracked me up. You’ll have to save that forever!
