I’ll show you the crap photo. And really, it turns out that it’s not so much crap as maybe not quite accurate in color. It’s fairly close, though.
I’m just not sure that I like the way it turned out. I like that my yarn is fairly consistent in thickness and that I had 330 yards out of it all. I just don’t really care for the colors. I liked them ok as singles, but plied, they just don’t do it for me. I think it’s because the pink took on an orange quality when it was all said and done and that just killed it for me. I just don’t like orange.

My daughter is always telling me to stop plying yarn. Actually she says you always make it ugly when you do that plying thing
Kids, gotta love them. I don’t see orange – I’m still seeing pink, and I’m an orange lover
It’s a beautiful yarn, and so darn even!
It’s amazing how the colors change and mingle throughout the process. Everything changes.
You’re so anal. It’s really pretty. Anyway, you should give it a chance. Only once it’s knitted up will you really know whether or not you hate it. I mean, some of the prettiest yarn I’ve seen has looked like total ass when knitted up. True story.
I think it is pretty….but I know what you mean…..you could always put it back and give for a gift!!!
Yep – I’m with the rest of them. I like it! And I like plied yarn too – it looks pretty both skein-ed up AND knitted. I don’t see orange either.
Quit being a goof. It looks lovely.
Pretteh!
And you can always call it practice and bury it somewhere. Or swap it to someone for something you like better.
I’m not a big fan of salmony pinks with cool greens either, but it sure looks nice and smooth and consistent!
