I know. It’s a crappy picture. I’ll have better pictures soon, I promise, but this was taken around 10:30 at night with a camera phone with no flash and poor lighting.
Still, the important thing here is that I finished seaming this bitch last night. I’m wearing it today. I am so happy it’s done! I actually still want to knit another sweater! Just not with fucking kid mohair. Ever again! EVER.
OK, I took this one just a minute ago. It’s better, but you can’t see the whole thing. Which is most important.
Scott was on hand to help me out last night, but then things kind of devolved into picture wars with the phones. He got a new cell phone. The Motorola Razr, to be exact. So far, I think he likes it. Of course, he also has a fabulous Fujifilm digital camera that he forgot at home yesterday. Though, I have to say, I didn’t think I’d be finished with the seaming last night. I wasn’t sure how long it was going to take me. But seaming up the sides took much less time than seaming the sleeves to the body.
Biggest compliment of the night?
I asked Scott, "Pretend that you didn’t just see me seaming up this sweater. If you saw me walking on the street, would you think that I had made it?"
His response: "No. I’d think you’d bought it."
Sweet.
Looks really good Grace, even in the pictures which have a strange PhotoShop “art filter” quality to them. Actually putting something on that you made and is reallly done is a pretty cool feeling. Good for you.
