I talked to the insurance adjuster, whom, I think, thinks I’m a State Farm insured, which I’m not, but whatever. Anyway, she gave me an estimate on the damages to my car. Now, keep in mind that I was REAR ENDED BY A LAND CRUISE DOING 25MPH. The estimated cost of repair to my HONDA CIVIC is ……drum roll……$6,008 and some change. BUT ITS NOT TOTALLED. WTF?!?!?!?!
Now this woman has been incredibly nice to me on the phone, but I just had to ask her, “Would you feel safe driving a car that had had that much damage repaired?” I mean, honestly, would you? Again, I ask, “WTF?!?!?!?!”
She’s going to get back to me on Monday, after she has hopefully reviewed the photos (they weren’t available yet) and talked to her supervisor. Even if they do fix it, I’m thinking that I’ll be getting rid of that car ASAP.
