I am tired of the cold. I am tired of being cold. I miss the sun. I mean, I can see it, but I can’t feel it. I miss feeling warm. This is when I start thinking that a sun lamp would be a very good idea. Well I can certainly say that winter makes me appreciate spring and summer more.
My Aunt B is getting the sock(s) I’m knitting. I’ve made some progress, but need to buckle down. I think I will do that during the Christmas Holiday. I’ll be getting a four day weekend, so I might as well knit! I haven’t really been knitting lately. I’ve been reading. Actually, I have knitted a lot…in my head…I have just been so enervated when I get home that knitting seems more like a chore. Plus, it’s so cold in my apartment that all I want to do is curl up in a ball. *sigh*
I really am not a scrooge or a Christmas hater. I just hate the weather that accompanies this time of year. I am actually very excited about Christmas Eve Eve because I’m meeting friends for dinner. It should be great fun! Then there is Christmas Eve: Lunch with Dad and sis and her DH. Dad is grilling steaks! Yum. Christmas Day will be spent at my brother’s house…eating, no doubt.

Also, there are quite a few knitters and crocheters here at work so that is nice. I’ve lent almost all my knitting books and magazines to one person. I need to get them back soon, though. I’ve been meaning to make myself a hat, and while I don’t need to have the book right in front of me the whole time to read the pattern, I like to have it as a security blanket. ![]()
Well, that is pretty much all that is going on with me. I am turning into a human slug thanks to the cold. Or more like popsicle, really…and I am lacking in true knitting content. I think I’ll work on my sock at lunch…
