I go through stages with my hair. Sometimes I want it long and then other times I want it short. So I grow it out and then chop it off. However, I seem to have developed a penchant for cutting my hair off in December. You know, because short hair makes SO much sense when it’s cold out. But guys do it, so I guess it sort of makes sense? But I digress.
The last time (3 weeks ago) that I went in to get my hair cut, I wanted my hair dresser to do whatever she wanted with it, but I was firmly told that 5 minutes notice was NOT ENOUGH TIME. So I made an appointment for last night and told her to do whatever she wanted – cut and/or color. And she did.
Prior to this, I basically had an angled bob for several months. But now? Now it is gloriously short again. And I love it. There is something very liberating about having short hair.
And honestly, I’m not inclined to style my hair when it’s longer than this because it’s a pain in the neck and takes too long (read: short on time in the morning; see also: lazy) So short hair is so much more convenient for me.
But the very best part? Sometimes all the styling you need with hair this short is to roll out of bed.

LOVE it!
I do the same thing with my hair. lol It just gets shorter and shorter and then finally I let it grow out again so I can do it all over.
@lilMDP So cute! You should have seen the spiked hair I had going when I rolled out of bed this morning – it rivaled Bart Simpson.
@julz91 you took a picture, right?
@lilMDP yeah, no. I was wearing a hoodie most of the morning so only caught sight of it as I was on my way into the shower.
I need to get my hair cut again. It’s getting mullet-y. I love yours! Amazing color.
I wish I could just roll out of bed and go, but when my hair is short it looks unwashed and gross more quickly. (Showering at night is completely counterproductive b/c it wakes me up.)
