You know how in the movies there’s always the good cop and the bad cop and they do whatever it takes to get the bad guy to crack? Well, that’s totally unrelated to my weekend. 
I had a fabulous night Friday night after an incredibly hectic day at work. Then, Saturday morning after being out and about on a glorious, sunny and warm day, I was making my way back to the house around 10:30 am when I got rear ended, by a neighbor of all people, and now my car is more than likely totalled. Excellent. This is just one of those things that happens, but why oh why did it have to happen to me! However, I managed to make it through the weekend, though I have to say that I am feeling much worse today than I did yesterday or even Saturday. This is to be expected though. Unfortunately, today the pain is kicking my ass.
My car was towed to the wrecker service’s lot and it’ll stay there until the insurance adjuster looks at it and gives me a verdict. *sigh* I need to get that started.
On a good note, despite my accident, I still went and partied with some friends Saturday night, which, really, was just what the doctor ordered. I had a great time and didn’t let myself get all depressed about the wreck. A bunch of us also went and saw two awesome bands Satur night. VHS or Beta and Ambulance, Ltd. Check them out and go see them if they’re playing in your neck of the woods. Both of them ROCKED live.
