That’s me today. No rhyme. No reason. Just am. Oh yeah, TGIF!
Anyway, I started on the Baby Blanket last night. I found a relatively simple pattern and I really liked the way the blanket looked in the picture of my Afghan book. Quick Knitted Afghans is the title. I will, of course, post pictures later. My weekend will be consumed with finishing the blanket for the shower on Monday. Oh, and the yarn I’m using is 100% Bernat’s Softee Baby. It’s not as bad to knit with as I remember. So what is the moral of this rambling? Memories can lie.
Tonight, however, will be knitting free. I think. After work, I’m going to get a massage. I cannot wait! I desparately need one because the knots in my back around my shoulder blades are starting a hostile takeover. It’s not pretty. Or comfortable. Mark is going to fix that for me. Yippee! Then I’m supposed to meet a friend for drinks. Depending on how I feel after the massage, I might end up cancelling, but we’ll see. The best part of getting the massage tonight? Mark is so sweet and so kind, he’s going to work out a payment plan so I can afford all his hard work that makes me so happy. This is my version of friends with benefits. 
On a good note, I got back in touch with an old friend. Always nice. He’s one of those friends that no matter what, we always pick back up where we left off and I just love him to pieces! He’s really more like my brother than just a friend. So I’m very glad to be back in touch with him.
