Ever see a knitting project that you just HAVE to start on RIGHT NOW? But you don’t have the yarn for it? Look at who I’m asking. Of course you have! Well, that’s me. But only for a little bit longer.
I was perusing the new Knitty yesterday and fell in love with Stardust. MUST. KNIT. IT. NOW. But of course I don’t have the yarn on hand. It’s Karabella Gossamer and I fell in love with it. I really like Karabella yarns. They are lush and decadent. Well, I found exactly what I wanted at Kpixie and it was even on sale! Score! So I ordered the yarn today and now I have four balls of this yummy gorgeousness on it’s way to me. I can’t wait!
Aqua with silver sparkly goodness. It’s so pretty! Shiny! I want to do unspeakable things to this yarn. I uh… excuse me…I need a private moment. I’ll be right back.

Yes. I do know that feeling. After checking out your pattern, I browsed the other patterns. (I haven’t visited Knitty recently.) I want–no, I MUST–make Sally, the Eco Angel. Like I have time, though? I’m backed up on children’s scarves and hats (for my boys and my niece), and there’s Maggie’s blanket I have yet to finish. And the yarn I have is no good. I need new yarn. But it Christmas, so I can’t get new yarn. That would be selfish.
Guess it’ll have to wait…
So, yes. I DO know that feeling…
