So I have this thing for vampires. I find them fascinating. I find the lore and myth and "origins" of vampires very interesting and I love reading about it. I am currently listening to The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Unabridged, of course. I think listening to abridged books is about the same as only watching the big action scenes in a movie. This is Kostova’s first published novel and let me tell you something. I really hope she writes another one because this is a fantastic piece of literature. And not just because it’s about vampires. She is just an amazing writer. I’m not going to tell you any more. If you want to know, go read (or listen) to the book.
Also, I love the audibooks because of the whole listen to a book and knit at the same time.
And speaking of knitting, my ball winder and swift are currently out of my possession because there is currently a certain 6 year old and maybe perhaps a certain 36 year old who love to wind the yarn.

I can’t believe you’d sell me out like that.
If only you would’ve let me take a picture. Besides, even if you’re not a knitter, you’re a knitter lover. So this is really just a natural progression of things. Your masculinity is in no way being questioned.
Your Vampire Name Is…
Opal of Austria
Huh?
I like vampire movies, especially bad French ones. Does that count?
